Pull up a chair, order a pint, and delight in the magic of words... The Poetry Pub presents our first chapbook! We are a group of poets and poetry lovers who come together on Facebook to share our writing, talk about favorite poems, get feedback, and celebrate the magic of words. (Berets and Angst not required.) In our first community chapbook, we explore the theme of home and place. From an African village to New England woods, and the lights of Beijing to a backyard swing, join us as we contemplate our place in the world through 22 original poems, plus a collaborative piece by Poetry Pub members.
Featuring poems from Rachel S. Donahue, Lisa Eldred, Melanie Frageorgia, Amelia M. Friedline, Jeanine Joyner, Lynn Pottenger, Steven Robertson, R. Michael Spangler, Chris Wheeler, Christopher Yokel, and Jen Rose Yokel.
This collection is free for you to enjoy! Any tips received will be donated to The Rabbit Room, a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering Christ-centered community through music, art, and story. (and poetry!)
The Poetry Pub is an online group born out of the The Rabbit Room poets community. After two years of open mic poem sharing at Hutchmoot, we decided to keep the party going in a Facebook group! This is a lively and encouraging space to share poems (our own and our favorites), get feedback, and celebrate the magic of words! (Berets and Angst not required.)
We hope you enjoy our free chapbooks! Tips are appreciated, but not required, and will be donated to The Rabbit Room, a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering Christ-centered community through music, art, and story. (and poetry! :))
