This is huge grab bag of funny stuff is filled with jokes, stories and illustrations. Don’t expect this to be merely "religious" gags. Some are directly related to churches and faith, but most are simply church-safe. That means that everything is appropriate for a church hallway even if it doesn’t have a churchy theme.
We start with the premise that God has a sense of humor and, since we are created in His image, we should exhibit the same trait. Theologians call it one of His “communicable attributes.” (I know that sounds funny, but it really isn’t.) Your joy in the Lord doesn't simply mean a happy heart, it often includes chuckles and belly laughs. Its like the corny old children's chorus: "Ho, ho, ho hosanna, Ha, ha, hallelujah!"
Certainly, there are shades of humor that God doesn’t approve of, such as that which is hurtful or distasteful. And that’s why this collection is squeaky clean. So enjoy yourself and maybe even say a little prayer to God thanking Him for His gift of laughter.
“Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy… The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.” Psalm 126:2-3
