A collection of four horror stories, Pocket Wilderness & Other Horrors tells the tale of men who must step outside their shell, face their fears, and find out who they really are. But no matter how hard they fight, can they survive the horrors that surround them?
Jason Ingolfsland started writing fiction and poetry in high school, reading his work for class projects and publishing his poetry in the high school literary magazine. He also enjoyed writing for the school newspaper. In college, he continued honing his craft, writing several short stories, editing the yearbook, and writing for the college newspaper.
Once he graduated college with a Bachelors in Humanities and Social Science, he set out on completing his first novel which he published under the pseudonym ‘Emory Skwara’. He wrote two novels under that name. He also wrote two screenplays that were successfully funded, filmed, and featured at the Twin Cities Film Festival, Z-Fest, and Renaissance Film Festival. When he’s not working full time, playing with his kids, or spending time with his wife, he’s usually reading or writing. He resides in Minneapolis and is a contributing writer for MinnesotaConnected.com.
