About the Author

H.G. Beverly is an award-winning writer, psychotherapist, and activist whose work redefines both trauma and perseverance. She is fascinated by the dynamic between people and their social and physical environments and is a lifelong advocate of social justice and human rights. Her professional life has taken her from international corporations to branding agencies to college counseling centers to private practice. Her personal life has been centered around her three children and extended family. She has endured more than 15 years of abuse and parental alienation at the hands of her now ex-husband, and she's working daily to recover from trauma that yet continues. She published 'The Other Side of Charm' in 2014 and is currently working on its sequel.
