When something’s wrong, it’s often the woman who notices it and wants to talk about it – to figure out what’s wrong and fix the problem. Here’s a frequent complaint from our Relationship Survey:
"We have problems agreeing on the way in which we will deal with problems. I want to deal with them when they come up, and he wants to think about it on his own for a long time and hope the problem goes away before we talk about it."
Does anything about that sound familiar to you? Have you’ve ever wondered, “Why won’t he talk to me?” Maybe you’ve tried everything you can think of. But don’t give up! Learn what to do now!
Based on professional research in The Psychology of Men and Romance, this book will teach you about …
- Communication Problems – how to avoid them
- Communication Styles – how to understand him
- Communication Strategies – how to get him talking
I’m a Psychologist who is passionate about helping Christian couples and single adults find effective ways to apply biblical principles and the findings of scientific research to their everyday lives.
I’ve studied the Psychology Men and Traditional Masculinity at the graduate and post-doctoral levels, written several books, and taught a university class on this very popular subject. What I’ve learned is:
- Most women don’t have a clue about men’s experience.
- And most men don’t know how to explain it.
So I put together a series of classes for women who want better relationships with the men in their lives. And the men I saw in couples counseling wanted me to teach them about women, but they’ve admitted they’d probably never attend a workshop about understanding women, so I expanded my writing to include them as well.
My Education & Training: I earned my Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree, with a Minor in Applied Theology, at Rosemead School of Psychology-Biola University.
"A brief book that can easily be read in one sitting. As a
guy, I can say Dr. Debi knows us well with nothing to disagree with here." Review by: Jason King
